DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS + SHOOTS?

YES! I travel for about 70% of my work. I'm no stranger to flying, driving, and hiking my way to wherever you are. Costs vary, so contact me to get an exact idea of the investment. It typically looks like the cost of the collection plus travel and a hotel. Nothing crazy, I promise. I also regularly come to NC, VA, MN, WI, and TN. Keep that in mind!

Will you guide or pose us?

Absolutely! Creative direction is a part of the process, so as I get to know you I'll work to guide our shoot in a way that leaves you at ease. I aim to create images that naturally compliment and display your character. For sessions, I'll comfortably guide you through poses, and for weddings, know that I'll direct you and your guests with warmth, clarity, and a smidgen of comic relief.

How many images will I receive?

Engagements and sessions typically receive 80-120 images. Weddings range from 600-1200 depending on coverage. You'll probably see about 70-100+ images per hour depending on different details and factors.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

I am now based in Raleigh, NC near Durham and Chapel Hill. A large portion of my work is based in the Southeast, however I have family across the States and shoot a majority of my work outside of the Triangle.

Do you offer mini sessions?

I offer Spring and Fall mini sessions across the Southeast (Raleigh, Chapel Hill, Richmond, DC, Charleston) based upon interest! Collect a group of interested friends & family, we'll fill a few time slots, and I'll come to you wherever you are!

Typical Turnaround

Full wedding galleries are delivered online 8-10 weeks after your wedding, and you will receive a disc of images in the mail shortly after that. For portraits, galleries are delivered 3-5 weeks after your session.

 Wardrobe & Location selection?

I love collaborating to develop a clear vision for sessions. Details are my thing, so once we set a date & place the retainer payment for your collection, we will plan for a location (one that is meaningful to you or one of the many spots I regularly love). I'll also send some wardrobe tips and suggestions about 2 weeks before our shoot.

Do I receive all of the images you take?

No, and here's why. As human beings, we happen to blink, to shift, and do crazy things like sneeze. I will leave out those funky in between moments, but you will typically receive several shots from the slew of poses and angles we walk through. Trust me! I want to deliver incredible images to you, so I'll select the best, finely retouch them with true to life tones and vibrancy and deliver some sneak peeks along the way!

Who shoots with you? 

For wedding days, I work with a handful of experienced assistants that have a complimentary communication style and a similar vision for images.
