Blue Ridge Parkway Engagement

I walked into a freshman dorm room to find a cheery California girl who talked just as fast and color-coordinated just as often. We were bright-eyed and utterly overwhelmed together. In that season, she showed me the value of steaming sweaters (who knew!), always opting for ice-cream, and loving people with your time. She became one of the greatest encouragements, and it has been the best gift to photograph her engagement.

This is the joy of investing in community: The fruit of our relationships multiplies in time. The celebrations in each season are becoming fuller and richer as we run through these days together- sharing the struggles, rejoicing in the work the Lord is doing, and even dropping plans to document treasured days like this…
